I haven't tried the Blood Magic sigil with mystical agriculture but I would imagine that it works the same way the ring/agricarnation/growth crystals do, but takes much more setup to automate and uses blood (life essence?) as fuel. I don't remember how the ring from AA works but I remember using it with mystical agriculture before (in a different pack) so that is a very good option that I completely forgot about. In addition, the Origins Mod was implemented. But it is heavily improved due to the new Create Mod. The Mechanical Age is back, which someon might know from SF1. They are pretty useful either way, especially if you want to use the octadic capacitor in the farming station. Currently it now contains many quests to guide you through the game. But they will hydrate soil in a 3x3 centered on the block where you place them, so you won't need a water source. They function, afaik, exactly like the ones from mystical agriculture do only faster/with less blocks.įrom what I've seen the worms from Actually Additions use a bonemeal effect. I feel like there was a reason I didn't craft sponges though, but I can't remember what it was now.Įdit to comment on your edit: The tiny progressions growth crystals are what the prismarine was to be used for. That would require a bit of setup to get though and I think it requires mana to work (or maybe it requires mana to work in a larger radius).įertilized dirt and sponges seem like more valid early game options. Oh yeah, I always forget about Botania stuff for some reason. The ritual only affects a few plants, but it could be useful to get essences from the first few plants of a kind.Īctually Additions has an RF-powered growth ring that speeds up crop growth around you, like the BM sigil if you don't mind speeding up growth manually.Īctually Additions also has worms which speed up growth in a 3x3 area, but I'm not sure if they increase growth ticks or just use a bonemeal effect. I don't know how they work exactly, but they didn't seem too hard to make.īlood Magic should have both a sigil and a ritual to speed up crop growth. We are trying to complete every achievement in the game, but we need tools from the nether to do so. However, the nether portal seems to be disabled. Tiny progressions has its own growth crystals. My friend and I have been playing on the Sky Factory 4 server a lot recently. Quick edit for more things that I just came up with: Of course that's a much more roundabout way of doing it than the Botania route (Nether Quartz in an alchemy catalyst). You can get the slime blocks by putting milk in a barrel of water. There's a crafting recipe for sponges as well, using some pretty common materials and slime blocks. You can also always go with the good ol' Agricarnation from Botania.Īnd another way to get prismarine is to sift sponges. I think Soaryn used that stuff to speed up his magical crops. There's fertilized dirt from the chickens mod.
